How your matter moves.
Disclosure
We request and analyse the Crown's full disclosure before forming a defence theory.
Strategy
Charter, statutory, and evidentiary defences identified — with a clear-eyed view of trial vs. resolution.
Negotiation
Most matters resolve favourably with the Crown when properly prepared.
Trial
When resolution is not on the table, we are ready to run the trial.
Common questions about this practice.
Should I just pay the ticket?+
Almost never. Payment is a conviction — with demerits and insurance consequences for years.
Do I need to appear in court?+
In most cases your representative can appear without you. We will confirm at your consultation.
Can you defend criminal charges?+
No. Ontario paralegals do not act on criminal matters. We will refer you to qualified criminal counsel.
